The purpose of this database is to provide a clearinghouse for artists to submit artwork descriptions and links to their websites. The database will be a tool for arts organizations to seek out artists working in new media and cyberarts. In addition, a secondary motive is to provide a place for artists to find collaborators. Any artist will be able to submit to the database, and anyone will be able to view the contents.
Boston Cyberarts, as the administrator of the database, has the editorial right to delete any whole entry that we want to. We won't change or alter the parts of the entry in any way, but we retain the right and discretion to delete any entry that is inconsistent with the purposes of this clearinghouse, or that might expose Boston Cyberarts, the web site, or the operators to liability or inconvenience or for any other reason. For example, if entries are submitted with empty fields, or are in other ways incomplete or inappropriate for the database, the administrators will clean up or maintain the database by eliminating these entries.
When you enter information into the APropos database, you are giving the operators of the database and Boston Cyberarts the right to use that information for any purpose. |
