Artwork title
Exploring geometry: CAD/CAM sculptures in metal & laser crystal |
Artwork description
My work is about life in three dimensions: symmetry and difference, zero and infinity, rotation and reflection...everything to do with the beautiful subject of geometry.
I sculpt in metal using a variety of CAD/CAM methods. My designs are effective at any scale, and I render them for exhibition and sale at sizes from one inch to 2 feet.
I'm pleased to supply work for exhibition in any relevant context. To learn more, please visit my site at www.bathsheba.com, or contact me at b@bathsheba.com. |

Artwork title
Exotic geometry sculpted by technology, in metal, wood and glass |
Artwork description
I'm a digital sculptor, working with high technology and rich materials to explore the fusion between art and geometry. My work ranges from handheld to desktop, including cast bronze and silver, electroformed copper, etched glass, laser-cut wood and more - anything that can use CAD/CAM. Each sculpture is a journey from the most ancient traditional methods to cutting- edge prototyping processes, and back again, seamlessly fusing logic, intuition and technology.
