Artwork title
Awake In My Flying Dream |
Artwork description
I record, mix and produce electronic music using a Mac G4 & Pro-tools, sampler, analog synths, Eventide processor. I then created a graphic/video montage using UI software's graphic synthesizer, Video montage software, and graphic sequencer software (also metasynth music art software) along with Photoshop, Flash, Freehand, Painter, in some instances I photograph my own paintings and found object sculpture, or sceneic landscapes - Once in the sequencer, I then create "tracks" that play back the montage as an animation with the sound track synched to the "video" montage. Up to eight tracks of animated imagery can dissolve and morph in superimposition. My goal is to project the sequence using a laptop and projector to stage size back drops - leaving one audio track open for live acoustic guitar, sampler or synth running through the eventide signal processor for live improvization accompanying the pre-recorded tracks while the video is projected in time with the music. I will eventually have video mixing software for live improvised VJ video mixing accompaniment to the music.
Originally I performed as an electric guitarist for many years and also am known as a painter of large Imaginative "channeled" paintings and also etchings in antique ivory. Soon, I will have a DVD demo and will render an Internet version or sample for viewing much smaller over the internet. |
